Bookings

You can book our village hall and/or garden for a wide variety of one-off or recurring events and activities, and it’s easy to do. Here’s how:

• Check our online Availability Calendar to see what is available, then pick your preferred date or dates.
• Then complete our Booking Enquiry Form, telling us of your requirements and any special needs. Should you wish to conduct regular events, such as a weekly class, just tell us on the form.
• Our Bookings Manager will then contact you to discuss your wishes and confirm your reservation.

Conditions of Hire

Naturally, there are provisos to hiring our hall and these are contained in our Standard Conditions of Hire. You might wish to consult these before you complete the Booking Enquiry Form.

Before we confirm your booking, we will ask you to read and sign our Hiring Agreement which will ask you to confirm that you have read the Standard Conditions and will comply.

• The Standard Conditions of Hire summarise your responsibilities as the hirer before, during and at the end of your session, and what activities you may and may not undertake. There are notes on insurance and indemnity, and your responsibilities when dealing with emergencies, such as fire.
• The Hiring Agreement records the extent of your hiring session and your fee. This agreement must be completed and signed before the session takes place.

Publicity

If you are holding a public event and would like us to promote it on our Facebook page, please let us know when booking the hall and tell us the details you would like us to include (not relevant for private hire). This will normally be:

• Name of your event or class.
• Short description.
• Day(s), date(s) and time(s).
• How to sign up, buy tickets and find out more.
• The contact details you are happy to be made public.
